The Oka’ Institute, at East Central University, has announced the addition of a marketing and communications specialist.
Morgan Edwards, from Moore and a recent graduate from ECU, joined the Oka’ Institute fulltime in May.
Edwards graduated with a degree in business administration with a concentration in marketing, as well as receiving a business certificate in promotions management. She has been with The Oka’ Institute since August of 2016, where she served as an intern with a specialty in marketing.
Her responsibilities included creating content and maintaining the website and social media platforms, as well as creating various marketing materials such as bookmarks, programs, and flyers. In addition, Edwards wrote a social media marketing plan specifically for The Oka’ Institute during her internship.
