FULL-TIME NURSING INSTRUCTOR OR ASSISTANT PROFESSOR (NON-TENURE TRACK; TENURE TRACK, IF ELIGIBLE) – ECU SCHOOL OF NURSING, ADA, OK

 

East Central University – Ada Campus, is seeking an individual to serve as a full-time nursing faculty, beginning August 2022, at the School of Nursing’s Ada campus in the four-year pre-licensure program which is accredited by the Oklahoma Board of Nursing (OBN) and the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN). This position is under the direct supervision of the Director, ECU School of Nursing. The individual seeking this position must be self-motivated, self-directed, and demonstrate a high degree of professionalism, personal integrity, and have a positive attitude. Rank and salary are competitive and commensurate with qualification and experience.

 

JOB SUMMARY: The position requires classroom and/or clinical instruction, student supervision and advisement, professional scholarship and service activities, a sensitivity to and an understanding of the diverse backgrounds of college students, and active inter- and intra-departmental and university-wide committee participation.  Some travel is required.

 

QUALIFICATIONS: Applicants must have a Master or higher degree in nursing, doctoral degree preferred; minimum of 2 years clinical experience required per OBN (additional nursing education experience is preferred); current or eligibility for an unencumbered RN license in Oklahoma. Tenure track requires terminal degree in hand.
