Lockmiller Art History Lecture

Dr. Indira Bailey will be presenting the Lockmiller Art History Lecture.  Her topic will be Women in the Black Arts Movement in the 1970's.  I've heard a portion of this lecture at the College Art Association conference last year and it is fascinating.  Her subjects struggle not only as Black Artists in the 1970's, but also as Women Artists at that time.
