The Symphonic Band’s program will include Celebration by Randell Standridge, English Folk Song Suite, movement 3 by Ralph Vaughn Williams, Fortress by Frank Ticheli, and Pas Redouble by Camille Saint-Saens, transcribed by Arthur Franckenpohl.
The Wind Ensemble’s program will include Rheinfelden Sketches movements 3 and 4 by Philip Sparke, Shenandoah by Donald Grantham, Black Rainbow by Nathan Daughtrey, and Sang! by Dana Wilson. ECU recently participated in the CBDNA consortium that commissioned Dr. Grantham’s arrangement of Shenandoah.
