Named undergraduate recipients of the Mike and Leslie Dicus Accounting Scholarships at East Central University for 2011-12 are Lacie Morrison (left) of Elmore City and Monica Jacobi (right) of Marlow. The scholarships honor the late Leslie Dicus, who taught at ECU for a short time, and her husband, the late Mike Dicus, a native of Ada. Both were certified public accountants who met while working in Dallas.

The presentation was made by Wendell Godwin (left), dean of the School of Business, and Randy Harp, a 2004 ECU Distinguished Alumnus and the co-chief executive officer, chief operating officer and president of Pre-Paid Legal Services Inc. in Ada. Frazee also received the Michael Millsap Accounting Scholarship for the 2011-12 academic year that began Aug. 15.
