Adults thinking about going to college - or going back to college - can get information about degrees, financial aid and careers at an evening College Opportunities for Adults program June 16 [MONDAY] at East Central University.
College Opportunities for Adults will be held in the University Center for adults ranging from those undecided about college or who have no college credit to those with some credit or substantial college credit as well as adults transferring from another university.
"At ECU, adults can invest in higher education without quitting their job, sacrificing time with family or breaking the bank," said Bronson Warren, ECU dean of students and director of enrollment management.
Check-in is scheduled from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. Campus tours will be offered to those who arrive by 5:30 p.m. The program will end at 7:30 p.m.
ECU has three degree programs designed specifically for working adults, Warren said, the general studies degree, the adult completion degree and the Reach Higher Program.
Representatives from university offices will be available to answer questions and offer information about those degrees, academic departments, TRIO Programs, scholarships, financial aid, career development and Residual ACT and CLEP testing.
Door prizes and complimentary refreshments will be available.
