East Central University is enjoying a vibrant start to the 2019 fall semester after a considerable uptick in new freshmen enrollment.
ECU’s new freshman enrollment has increased by more than 11% from the fall of 2018. Additionally, there has been a 55.8% increase in new graduate transfers to go along with an increase in student living on campus.
“We’re certainly excited with the increased numbers. It’s a tribute to our faculty and staff willing to go the extra mile in recruiting and presenting the university as a viable option,” said ECU President Dr. Katricia G. Pierson. “ECU is affordable and many graduate with little to no debt. We value our students and will continue to work together to build on our successes.”
