Tori Petete of Ada has been named East Central University's Distinguished Accounting Graduate for 2008.
Recipients of Outstanding Accounting Graduate Awards were Rhonda Maness of McAlester, Sian Phipps of Davis and December 2007 graduate Jeremy Wood of Ada.
The awards were presented at the School of Business' spring awards ceremony.
Accounting students receiving scholarships were Ian Adams of Grenada, the Dr. Barbara McKinzie CPA Endowment Scholarship; Tammy Currey of Prague, the Lee Horne Accounting Scholarship; Tessy Copeland of Tecumseh, the Dr. William Chapman Endowed Accounting Scholarship; and Suzan Smith of Ada, the East Central Credit Union Mick Cowan Accounting Scholarship.
Recipients of ECU Department of Accounting Scholarships were Jessica Hall of Oklahoma City and Jeremy O'Flannagan of Coalgate. Nataly Keeton of Ardmore received the Charles Fletcher Endowed Accounting Scholarship and Chase Townley of Konawa received the Crawford & Associates Scholarship.
