Joe Franco, a senior early childhood education major from Purcell representing Pi Kappa Tau, serves cookies during last year’s annual Community Thanksgiving Dinner in Ada. The East Central University Human Resources Club is hosting this annual event again from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m., Monday, Nov. 23, at the Pontotoc County Agri-Plex and Convention Center in Ada. The dinner is free and open to everyone in the community. In the past, volunteers have served and cleaned the facility, including representatives from local schools, the Boy Scouts, Pontotoc County Drug Court, ECU’s Greek Life and other ECU student organizations. Volunteers are needed once again for this year.
