East Central University’s song and dance troupe Showtime will present a salute to Rodgers and Hammerstein’s musical Oklahoma! on Friday-Saturday, Nov. 2-3, at 7:30 p.m. in the Dorothy I Summers Theatre.
This landmark musical celebrates the 75th anniversary of its premiere on Broadway.
Showtime will perform songs from the musical such as “Oh, What a Beautiful Morning,” “I Cain’t Say No,” “People Will Say We’re in Love,” “Kansas City,” and, of course, the state song “Oklahoma!”
Showtime is directed by Vickie Reifsnider and accompanied by Rudy Lupinski. Choreography is by Cassidy Malm of Noble.
