Capture the holiday spirit by attending “A Showtime Christmas”, featuring a follies show with short Christmas skits, singing and dancing, on Thursday and Friday, Dec. 10-11, at 7:30 p.m. at the Dorothy Summers Theatre on the East Central University campus.
“A Showtime Christmas, will be performed by ECU Showtime, ECU’s premiere music theatre performing ensemble. ECU Showtime is under the direction of Vickie Reifsnider. Musical direction for “A Showtime Christmas” is being provided by Rudy Lupinski and choreography from Michelle Rambo.
The follies is a collaboration of the students’ favorite Christmas skits, songs and dancing and will run straight through without an intermission.
The cast will feature 21 entertainers including: Brittany Davis, an ECU junior from Ada; Dakota Taylor, a sophomore from Ada; Trey Shofner, freshman, Ada; Amber McClendon, freshman, Ada; Chenaniah Heath, senior, Poteau; Bessie-Mei Soh, junior, Stratford; Ashley Tucker, senior, Sasakwa; Nicole Erwin, junior, Ada; Raegan Thomas, sophomore, Poteau; Tabitha Carr, freshman, Winnsboro, Texas and Allison Bush, sophomore, Sapulpa.
Also appearing are Cassidy Wilcox, junior, Noble; Kane Berry, alumni, Bethel Acres; Makaila Rodriguez, junior, Lawton; Carolynn Stephens, junior, Sulphur; Danielle Haynes, senior Glenpool; Leah Whiten, sophomore, Davis; Keegan Buckaloo, junior, Sallisaw; Deborah Johnson, freshman, Nassau, Bahamas; Alicia Doupe, sophomore, Dewey and Philip Newcomer, junior, Ada.
