ADA – Tickets are now on sale for the 2013-14 fine arts season at East Central University.
The lineup includes: Improvised Shakespeare (Sept. 26), Miller in Concert (Oct. 24), Chicago Tap Theatre (Jan. 24), the Brad Richter and Viktor Uzu Duo in concert with the Oklahoma City Community Orchestra (Feb. 22) and Aquila Theatre’s production of Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury (March 6).
Also included are ECU productions of Doubt: A Parable (Oct. 10-12), The Imaginary Invalid by Moliere (Nov. 14-16), School House Rock (Feb. 13-15) and George Bernard Shaw’s Major Barbara (April 10-12).
Most performances will be held in the Ataloa Theatre of the Hallie Brown Ford Fine Arts Center while a few will be conducted in the Chalmers Herman Theatre of that same venue.
A season pass can be purchased for all nine special performances and more for $100. For $65, a patron can purchase a ticket for all ECU productions plus two of the other special events, excluding the Brad Richter and Viktor Uzu Duo. The Brad Richter and Viktor Uzu Duo in concert with the Oklahoma City Community Orchestra is presented in conjunction with the Ada Arts Council.
The 2013-14 fine arts season is sponsored by the ECU Foundation, Inc., Oklahoma Arts Council, Communication Federal Credit Union, Vision Bank, Citizen’s Bank, Blue Moon Café, Santa Fe Cattle Co., ECU Bookstore, San Remos Pizzaria and Magic T’s.
Those who want to make it a dinner-and-show night, can present their season ticket patron card and receive a 10 percent discount at Blue Moon Café, Chili’s Bar and Grill, Rib Crib, Santa Fe Cattle Co., and Vintage 22 on the night of performances.
