Art Gallery Talk by Marshall Gettys

The Department of Art is pleased to announce an upcoming exhibit in the Pogue Art Gallery featuring the collection of Sally and Marshall Gettys of Norman, Oklahoma. Select Native American baskets and totem poles from the Northwestern United States from the Gettys’ extensive collection will be on view from Thursday, October 24 to Tuesday, November 26 in the Pogue Art Gallery in the Hallie Brown Ford Fine Arts Center. The gallery is open every week day from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Mr. Marshall Gettys will give a gallery talk on Thursday, October 24 at 4:00 p.m. in the Pogue Art Gallery. The talk will be followed by a reception. Both the gallery talk and the reception are free and open to the public.
This exhibit is sponsored by Office of the Dean of the College of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences and by the Native American Studies Program.
