The General Mathematics concentration prepares a student who plans to enter a graduate program in mathematics or related fields or seek immediate employment. This concentration is often part of a double major with Physics, Computer Science, or other sciences.
In addition to the core courses required for all mathematics majors, students in this concentration also take courses emphasizing proof writing.
