The Tutoring Zone

The Tutoring Zone is a free resource available to all ECU students. The Tutoring Zone offers tutoring in Math, Physics, Biology, Chemistry, General Science, Financial & Managerial Accounting, and Advanced Computer Business Applications. Tutors can also help with study skills.

The Tutoring Zone is located in the Administration Building, room 259 (after 5pm tutoring will take place in the library).  The hours for tutoring are posted outside the door.  No appointment is necessary; students may walk-in at their convenience. Bringing your textbook and/or lecture notes to the tutoring session is helpful. Computers are also available in the Tutoring Zone.

Another tutoring option is SMARTHINKING. Smarthinking offers online tutoring 24/7 for the above subjects plus many more, including business, nursing, and accounting. Every ECU student can access Smarthinking by clicking the link under TOOLS on your Blackboard home page.

Hours of Operation:

The Tutoring Zone is closed during finals week. We will reopen for the Fall semester.
