What is Financial Literacy?
Financial literacy is understanding how money works: how you make, manage, and invest your money wisely. Knowing the basics of managing your money will help you become self-sufficient and achieve financial stability.
Mission Statement:
The goal of FLY@ECU is to provide East Central University students with the information and tools to become financially savvy and successful.
Test your knowledge of money matters...and win $ !!!
Every month you can play the Kahoot! challenge as many times as you would like. Just click on the image below and play along! The top 3 winners with the fastest times will win a gift card! First place - $30, second place - $20, and third place - $15. The first question will request you enter your six-digit ECU student id number so we will know how to reach you if you are a winner, but everyone else will only see your fictitious screen name. Who doesn't like a challenge and free money!
A big thank you to Ada area banks and credit unions that have sponsored the Kahoot! challenge this academic year. Thank you for supporting financial literacy!
The Kahoot! challenge is taking a break over the summer, but be ready to dive back in when the Fall Semester begins. Enjoy your summer and if you have a chance, explore the FLY@ECU website - the more you know, the better prepared you will be to make sound financial decisions!
Financial Literacy for You at East Central University (FLY@ECU), a program designed to emphasize the importance of developing life-long money management skills, was made possible by a grant from NASNTI, the Native American – Serving Nontribal Institutions program at East Central University.
