ECU Employee Helping Hands
The ECU Employee Helping Hands was established in 2020 by concerned employees to assist other employees during times of crisis. The initial goal was to assist employees affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.
The ECU Employee Helping Hands supports any ECU employee who is in financial crisis due to a spouse’s job loss, a health crisis or other financial hardship. The fund will support buying groceries, paying utility bills and other issues.
An employee may apply directly, or another employee may apply on someone’s behalf. It is not expected that employees will repay these funds; however, the employees are encouraged to “pay it forward” in the future or when they are able.
Employee Assistance Grant Guidelines
- An employee can apply directly, or another employee can recommend assistance for another employee. To be eligible, the recipient must be a current, full-time ECU employee.
