The NASNTI HERITAGE Program offers Native and high-needs students opportunities for research funding, summer internships, and tutoring. We facilitate connections between Native American students and tribal education agencies in an effort to increase student retention. Our program offers cultural activities on campus each semester to increase awareness as well as provide an atmosphere conducive to building relationships. We are interested in assisting students with what they need not only to survive but thrive in higher education.
The NASNTI HERITAGE Program also supports research grants for students in the field of Humanities. This is a wonderful opportunity for students to develop research skills with the assistance of an advisor/mentor as well as earn a stipend paid upon completion of the research project. For more information, and an application, please contact the program Director, Rhonda Hibbard, at rhibbard@ecok.edu or 580-559-5366.
